She said that she was making a quilt for her son and his wife to be. Since I'm not a quilter, I wondered "what in the world?" but I embraced the challenge. I must admit that I ended up enjoying the task. I embroidered two dozen or more hearts and delivered them to my customer. She was beyond satisfied and I was proud that I satisfied that need. A few weeks later she afforded me the opportunity to see her finished project. It was beyond beautiful and I remember the experience as if it were yesterday. Fast forward about say seven years or so and again I'm asked by another customer to do embroidery work for a quilt that she's making. This time though she only wants one quilt block embroidered so I say get all of her instructions and set out to complete this order. Once again this customer is pleased with the finished project.
